Idk what category this would fit under but my veiled needs to lay eggs im pretty sure so i bought some subrate (coconut fibers and what not mix) it was the only thing that was closer to dirt and not sand at the store, well i put it in a very small container foe her to dig and what does she do... Starts eating it! Does she need a bigger container or something? Its non toaxic of course but i dont want her eating it

Its not it being toxic you want to worry about its the impaction that will become a serious problem.

I've heard that eating dirt could be due to lacking of something in the diet (probably a mineral) -- I'm not sure on this though.

but I mean does she need a bigger container to lay eggs in or something? She has all the symptoms I've read about to start laying eggs and is about 7 months old, I would really like her to lay them and not die...

What size is the cage and what size is the tub you are trying to give to her to lay in? And how deep are you filling the container and with what?

yeah.. you didn't really give us a description of your container.

12x8x12 should get the job done nicely-- or something a foot deep and 10" diameter

the cage itself is too small im working getting a new one, I just got her this week with cage and all, the tub I put for the eggs is way too small then, thank you
