Egg size getting smaller :(

Baby is good. At least not dead. It is laying. If I touch it it will move and open its mouth but not eyes. It never opened . So I put it in a humid vermiculite. You suggest that I should put it in a warm water. But Water will be cold after 5 minute later is it important ?

Yes that is correct,the water will be cold,but you can put the baby in a shallow small cup with a bit of water in ,then put the cup inside your incubator or under a warm spot light in the correct temperature ,but be sure to check it often,add little water just in case got dry up if it needed,until the baby can start walking around on its own

Also since the baby was cut it open so its in a premature stage that needs contant check up ,sort like in intensive care,try to leave it along not to stress it out,it needs to absorb the egg sac as much as possible,the eyes wont be open till it feel ready to face the world and just give u a heads up,it needs to eat on its own to survive,if things go wrong,plz dont be hard on yourself,remember it is a premature baby,and it is a very weak baby to begin with,good luck

Yes and please remember,a tiny little bit water to keep that egg sac moisture so it wont dry up quickly,check every hour if u can without disturbing the tiny baby.

I know and i feel bad,that why I suggest not to blame yourself if thing go wrong,but you will be handled this like a champ on ur next journey with your 26 eggs

Female layed them on 11th December so I think they will start to hatch on July.

Sounds good,check those eggs every month at least,add little water if need it get a good temp and humidity reader and see if all eggs grows in a same size ,try lower the temp for a month then increase gradually again,type in "diapause" on the forum and do a search on the post,it might help u in your situation

Incubator has set for 75.2 degrees. Should I decrease the temp ?

I like it on mine lower so cook little longer for them to fully developed, plus a higher temp will reduce the humidity,did u search on the diapause on the forum search?

I don't want to make dipause. Is it necessary for furcifer pardalis ? And I have another friend who lives in France and breeds billions of chameleon species. He said for panther chameleons incubation temp was 26.5 celcius which means 79.7 fahrenhayt. I was very surprised. Doesn't it too hot for panthers ? But he was sure and breeds nosy be's, tamatave's ambilobes and ambanja's. And extra question: Is forums tapatalk working on ios ?

79.7F is a bit too hot for my experience,regarding the forum tapatalk working on ios,I will let others to answer that question.

79F is too high, if you don't want to diapause keep the eggs about 74F. it will take a little longer to hatch them but they will hatch in 8-9months.
The baby was alive when you cut the egg, don't cut any more eggs, it's better to let the babies cut the eggs and emerge when their ready. If they're too weak to get out of the egg themselves they probably won't live anyway. Again the neonates vitality is dependent on the health of the female laying the eggs. If this problem continues to occur you need to work on your husbandry of the adult chameleons.

O my gosh I just fell in love!! He/she is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I'm REALLY hoping this little guy makes it. SOOO CUTE!!!

Better to see your writings again. I hope he/she will live. It is hard to say because I don't know hatchling reacts or movements. In the other way this is premature baby and I haven't seen any premature baby that can stay alive. Even some of hatchlings are dying so how can this premature baby stay alive ? Now it will be difficult for me if he/she dies. For female: I can say when I get her she was 64 grams and looks very dehydrated. I fed her 3 months I gave much more calcium daily. After 3 months she was 95 grams. And she looks perfect. I thought that her body was ready for breeding. She laid 31 eggs and only 19 of them were fertilized. (this 19 eggs) After this I made my best and I fed her very perfect I think. I used locusts, crickets, dubias, lobsters and tartaras. She wasn't fed with the same feeder. She has weekly routine. I used zoo med repti calcium without d3 every feeding. And after 5 months later she has mated my other male(blue body red bar ambilobe) then she laid 26 eggs that all of them fertilized. So I gave this info because I really do my best at least for second clutch. After 7 months later if eggs will do the same so there is no way that this female will give a healthy clutch.
