I have a veiled, male. I think he is about 8-10 months old. He is about 6 or so inches from nose to vent.First...what kind of chameleon do you have...some get bigger than others. Also how old is it? I start off with a smaller cage and as they grow change to a larger cage. I only have experience with a veiled so if it is anthing other than that I would wait to hear from the experts. 7 ft. would be good but my thoughts are it should be at least 24" if a veiled.
Minimum of 24X24X48" cage for adult male veiled, he's just about there.thank you for the extra opinions. I will keep that in mind.
is that nose to vent? Or nose to tip of tail? Just curious.Adult veiled chameleons reach 18"-24" in length head-to-tail. I would say absolutely no way! He would hardly be able to turn around. The height is awesome, but that is far, far too narrow for a veiled to live in comfortably imo
Nose to tip of tailis that nose to vent? Or nose to tip of tail? Just curious.
thanks!Nose to tip of tail
scrapped the enclosure. I bought a 2x2x4 reptibreeze . Better be safe than sorryMinimum of 24X24X48" cage for adult male veiled, he's just about there.
