This is a Beton Plex DIY Chameleon cage.
For the bottom -
I used Styrofoam that's used for insulation. I cut it and put boards on the sides to rise it so there was a slope. I then used hot glue to put it all together.
Foam hot glued
I wrapped it in pond liner to make it water proof and easy to clean. I tested to see where water polled and drilled a whole through the foam and the board underneath. I got a cheap plastic drain from the local hardware store.
Pound Liner with drain

Drain close up
Part of it is under the foam and runs to through the hole in the board with rubber seals. The top part with the screw fits on top and screws into the part under the foam. I put a piece of mesh in it to keep the bugs from going into the bucket underneath and escaping.
The middle is full of sticks. I put screws in the sides and hung the sticks with high gage wires. Once I decide on the permanent placement I'm going to foam them to the wall. I'll then add plants which I hope to start growing in the next week or so. That why by the time I get my little guy it will have enough coverage.

Bottom up
Right Side
Left Side
Top - Screen mesh in a frame (Need to trim off excess. )
Front with Vents (need to add glass and rails)
Overview
Front vent
Things that still need to be done - Foam to adhere sticks to walls better so they won’t wiggle, Lights, Plants and front panel glass
What do you think? To many sticks? Not enough? Advise?
