Exo terra fogger ?

most people will probably tell you that its not necessary or even overkill, but I say To each his own. I think that would work better in a glass terrarium as opposed to a screen mesh cage but if you like it and its something you want to try them its all good.

the exo terra fogger breaks alot. I have hd 3 and had to repair all 3. if I were you I would go for the zoo med one. much much better product. these are great for dry climates were humidity is next to nothing. I use them. and none of my chameleons are dehydrated.

mister..fogger

hello.. my exo.. fogger broke as well.. i went to the mist king system.. i also went from 1 to 6 chams...and over 100 babies on the way..lol.... the fogger is ok for glass and screen combined terrraiums.. for screen cages i recomend a misting system on a seconds timmer.. mist em about 20 sec 8 times a day.. its great.. my chams are also never dehydrated.. good luck

Well all I can say is I gave away 4 of those things to people on the forum who wanted them. Every time someone on the forum said they wanted one, I pm'ed them until I had given away all of mine. Complete and total crap for me at least.

Foggers are breeding stations for bacterias and fungus. So if you want to give your chameleon the extra dosis, buy a fogger...
Buy a dripping or rain system, your chameleon will thank you for it

I built a fogger also with the Walgreen humidifier, but I use it for my Dart Frogs. For my Chams I use a misting system with a very large bucket on a timer.
I have been using filtered water, letting it sit to de-chlor.

I believe the seconds timer is only available from Mist-King. I looked at units like the Monsoon and a couple others, but for the over all money a real pump and timer seemed a much better choice
