I need a second opinion. My chameleons right eye was originally burnt from having a concentrated UVB bulb. Saw a vet twice, and antibiotics, pain meds, and anti inflammatories were not working. Went for a second opinion from a different vet (this eye has cost me over $800 within the last year). He said its because I did not have a linear UVB bulb. It healed, but never the same. Pupil does not dilate or retract, and is misshapen. Also, th hole for the eye has never returned to normal size. Had another eye infection(in the same eye) and I took him in right away, but went to the vet that misdiagnosed the problem. Only went to her because I could not get in with the other vet. Been on antibiotics, pain meds and anti inflammatory meds for over a month. The eye has healed and has returned to looking like the picture below. Do you think this is just the eyes new normal? Or should I take him in to the specialist. I do am pretty sure he is not in pain as he is not bothered with it like he was when infected. He did have an ulceration. Thanks for your input. Below is good eye, and bad eye.
