Female panther eye stuff

when i checked on her yesterday it seemed like she was a little better. i could actually see both eyes and she kept them open for a bit. but then wen back to cleaning them..

i really dont know what else i can do at this point beside put crickets and water in her mouth for her and hope she gets better......

i wish someone else would post on here........ LOL. IM TALKING TO MY SELFFF!:eek::eek:

Honestly, I would have the vet do a recheck (follow up visit)and see if another round of antibiotics are recommended. If she was getting better but isn't better yet I would think doing another round would be advised, I know I would do that for my patients but since Baytril is so hard on them your VET would be who to talk to about that.

ok. thank you. i was thinking eye drops that are medicated would help more. they seem to get dryed out easy but look like they are trying to maake up for it with secretion. is there any recomended antibiotic eye drops?

so tomorows her birthday... at least she lived a year. but ive now tried teramyicin, the antibiotic eye drops, and it still isnt clearing up. Im almost positive she has respitory infection too due to her saliva and bloated body.. i just want her to get betttterrrr!!! im all out of ideas...

UPDATE; her eyes are still infected and she still has a respitory infection... The vet has perscribed 5 different treatments, none of which worked. I have tryied reptaid on my own as well. (not durring vets meds of course) I am all out of ideas. I have just been hand feeding her for weeks on end. Im so lost....:(:(

I dont want her too die. She is too young...

I'm not sure if you are using the reptisun 5.0 compact bulb or the linear tube. But I have a male nosey be that developed photo-kerato-conjunctivitis from the reptisun 5.0 compact bulb. He started closing one eye periodically throughout the day and the problem got worse until both eyes were close most of the day. Once replaced the bulb with a reptisun 5.0 linear tube, he started opening his eyes more and more. It took about a week for him to start drinking on his own again. It took about 2 weeks for him to start eating right and hit his target on the first try. Here is a website that discusses the problem in greater detail. http://www.uvguide.co.uk/phototherapyphosphor-cases.htm
