Female Panther "Rescue"

Haha, yayyy! :p

I expect to see some gravid coloration fairly soon... is it unusual for a female to have not laid anything by ~1year? I'll sneak in an xray when I go for her exam, out of curiosity. She doesn't seem especially hefty, and nothing's clearly palpable as of yet.

I'll do some more research on females and laying. I really want the best for her! She seems especially active since I took her outside for some sun.
It’s not odd but you always want to be prepared . If she has lower temps and she not over fed she. possibly not lay or less in between with fewer eggs .

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I’m not sure I can add anything that you more experienced chammers haven’t already said. Love the setup, keep chamming!
I know nothing about the bio set up just to be honest with u...if its breeding or other thing i can show support...thank u for being here with us (y)

I'm trying to keep her at ~4 feeders every other day, with a basking temp between 80-85 (her light is angled for lots of choices). Would you recommend any adjustments? Hopefully that'll keep her laying limited, though I'll be sure to get a bin set up asap! I'll do some thinking and see if I can make something fit in her enclosure... if not, I'll make her an external.

Keep her lower then 85 . 83 is a good temp . Yes it’s recommended 85+ but I’m my experience that leads to big clutches with girls . If your not breeding her you want as small as possible . How old is she ? My girls only eat 3 days a week . Depending on what I’m feeding is how I pick amount. Once I know they have eggs I go to 2 days .

It's 85F directly at the screen, and her primary basking branch is 82-83. I'll play it by ear re: feeding and use my common sense. (y) Thank you!

Lily's approximately a year old, though I dont have a hatch date or anything. The pet store recieved her "when she was little" (I'm assuming ~3mo) last summer, so she likely hatched in April/May of last year by my reckoning!

Edit: I'll be taking weekly weights to keep track of trends.

You have fine commonsense no gray matter lol . Yes I would go to 3 days a week . Now she is your baby and you know best for her . Each is there one what works for one may not another . Your doing a great job xo .

Thank you! I'm trying my hardest! :)

Are there any benefits to feeding a small amount daily, as opposed to larger amounts every couple days? I'm just curious - not arguing at all! Seems like they'd at least catch 1 insect per day in the wild.

That’s great as well on weekly weight . Great job . @jamest0o0 when you have a sec could you please look over the condo . James is the bio man . Also @jannb when you have a sec any thoughts on Miss lily that’s not on here ? I know @Matt Vanilla Gorilla has been tagged but I will as well tag him . Oh brother when you have a sec can you please add any thoughts . Thank you all .

I'm in the dubiously lucky position of having a basement suite with temperatures that are stable year round. It doesn't budge past 69-70F ambient temperature, and that's with a small oil radiator running!

The current set up isnt bioactive, but the next one will be! Soon (TM)...
Oh ok sorry for the misunderstanding . Pick James brain on it . I’m sure you have done the research . He might give you some idea though .
