Frank's Thread

Your reptile room is GORGEOUS!! I am so envious!! Totally putting this on the list of wants when I buy a house!! You can tell that was a lot of years of effort getting it to that point! The pride you must have in it - alahsgdlajhldjahf! :D

Haha, thank you very much. It did take a lot of years to get there and I'm still nowhere near "satisfied" with it. Although I am proud of it. So many little mistakes a long the way that I've learned from and use to keep trying to improve. If only money wasn't a consideration...

Couple pics from last night of one of my lateralis females, "Nymeria". This was taken right after mating with one of my males and she is still showing her bright receptive coloration. :)

She is beautiful Frank. But any time you look at a female lat they are beautiful no matter which set of colors they are wearing.

"Nymeria" was showing off her gravid coloration in response to a male.

As soon as she saw the camera though she forgot about him and switched to "normal" colors. The change happened within ten seconds.

The male, "Tyrion", checks her out wearily in the background.

Frank I greatly enjoy your thread up dates! Wonderful pictures and seeing what you are doing with all your chams is always fun. Thanks.:)

Thanks! The chameleon breeding has slowed down recently. Lots of eggs incubating. Most of what I have going on in the lizard room is lots of Lygodactylus williamsi eggs and babies right now.

They look fantastic Frank. That female looks CBB. It's amazing that she is a WC.

Thanks Kevin! What's even more amazing is she just laid two weeks ago. I still can't get this female to dig though. I found four of the seven eggs before they dried out and they look good so we will keep our fingers crossed. This was her second clutch with me. Hopefully the next one she will dig like the other girls.

I love everything you have, and your dog. I had a white shepherd she passed away about two months ago. Great dogs :)

Fantastic enclosures. Did you become a horticulturalist through reptiles or did you find reptiles while doing horticulture? The bromeliads look great.
