Good amount of waxworms?

Infrequently. 1 a month is more than enough.
Waxworms provide nothing but fat

Exactly what sandrachameleon said, waxworms should be used much because they have also no nutritional value towards the chameleon.

The short answer is NEVER.... No nutritional value!!!!! Why waste your $ and your chems health on something that is of no value ?

I purchase a lot of stuff from LLLReptiles and think very highly of them!!! That said there are many good feeder insects for your chem. look at the info on this forum and u will find all the good feeders you will ever need. A few examples are crickets that have been well gut loaded,roaches,silkworms,super worms in moderation,Phoenix worms and the list goes on. There are suppliers that will send u a mix of many different feeders in small numbers to give your chem a variety that will help insure good health!!! Feel free to pm me and I will give u some sources!!!

wow. While your animal is young and growing, it could handle a good deal of fat, but even so that's far too many.

Choose butterworms and silkworms instead - both are gutloadable and far more nutritious, and your chameleon will enjoy them just as much.
