Get some zebras - they are crazy and climb everything! Giant canyons would sometimes climb the screens, but zebra make seem it like its a competitive sport!

My grasshoppers love half a head of escarole and a 50/50 dry mix of Repashy bug burger and Mizuri cricket gut load. This is what 50 medium hoppers did in just 2 days.

You feed your bug burger dry? I have never tried it! The directions say to mix it with water. How do the bugs like it? Do you feed it to other bugs besides crickets like that?

oh yeah bug burger can be fed dry or in the gel form.

Just keep in mind you will need to provide them with alternative hydration like lettuce or squash or sweet potato

I guess so. I just found eggs laid outside of the lay bin!

Guess I need a larger lay bin!

There were about 50 eggs in total. I buried them in the coco mixture. We will see what happens.

@MissSkittles this throuple thing is working out for me. When these Spotted Birds mate- they reallllly mate! I'm seeing throuples on a regular. I put a new lay bin in the cage. Went to sleep and woke up to 15-20 egg holes. Now that's what I call laying eggs!

It is fun to the boys devour those big hoppers as if they are just another item for dinner. I've been very diligent about not feeding off the breeders. I actually treat the breeders like pets. It's gonna take a lot-a-luv to get eggs.

The Gray Birds are gonna need medical intervention. I'm gonna order those blue diamond shaped pills. Maybe that will help. They are not even trying to mate.
