Cage Info:
Current Problem - Gumby has not eaten anything in the last 6 days and seems to have a weak grip as he has fallen a few times in the last 2 days. He doesn't usually fall from more than 1-2 feet and the bottom of his cage is screen material. For the past 2 days, he is usually dark in color with his spots showing. A couple nights ago, he was active which is very unusual for him. Today, he slept on and off, which is also very unusual. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. I will post pictures shortly.
- Your Chameleon - Male Veiled Chameleon in our care for 11 months. He is 13 months old.
- Handling - Very rarely. Only when he "asks" and sometimes during cage cleaning.
- Feeding - We feed him mainly 10-15 crickets daily. He also receives wax worms and meal worms occasionally. The crickets are gut-loaded with "Cricket Crack", carrots, lettuce, and hydrated via Flukers Cricket Quencher.
- Supplements - The feeders are dusted with ZooMed Repti-Calcium w/o D3 during every feeding and Rep-Cal Herptivite Multivitamins and RetptoCal w/D3 every other Sunday.
- Watering - We use a DIY dripping system and reptile fogger during the day only. We also spray the enclosure 3 times daily for 5-10 minute intervals. We see him drink often.
- Fecal Description - His last poop contained remains of a meal worm, indicating improper digestion and he was recently tested negative for parasites by the local vet.
- History - Gumby has recently been to the vet due to some of his back spikes being removed during his latest shed. He was given anti-bacterial cream, which we applied as prescribed. This visit was 2 weeks ago.

- Plants - His enclosure has an umbrella plant and codiaeum variegatum (both live).
- Placement - The cage is located in our living room next to a window to provide natural sunlight during the day. The top of the cage is 6ft 9in from the floor.
