He hates me....

Hi y'all, I'm just leaving a update on my male veiled camillion "Cami" He is really warming up to me. I have been very patient with him. But everyday for maybe 10-15mins I've been getting Cami out of her cage and then I take her directly to her new 8ft tall tree. She loves her new play ground. She even came to me bare handed! Yes I said bare handed. Its only happened once but were getting there. Ty all so much.

Do you think the tree helped? I've been trying to get my cham to come out of his enclosure, but he only does it if I get him out with food on my arm, and seems pretty stressed the entire time, even if I put him back right away

My guy is weird. He gets super calm and wants to explore when he goes outside. Other than that, he’s typically pissy with me while inside unless he’s on his tree/free roam area...

I do think he likes his tree, but it just make ME nervous I'm scared hes gonna fall or get cold? So I only bring him out maybe twice a week to play on his tree. He loves it, it's just his mom who freaks out about everything...lol when I do go get him I have a 3ft branch I bring him out on. He stays all the way to one end and watches my distance the whole time. But at least he comes out of his cage that way. As soon as he looks scared or stressed in any way I dont force him ever, it's his room, his cage, and his happiness! I'm just blessed to have such a beautiful reptile to be able to own and watch from a distance if I have too!

Ok let's settle this.... is IT male or female

Chameleons don't have a brain capacity/complexity to formulate if it hates you or not, if you are providing for it's needs in the way a chameleon would need, if you do it right you can be a feeding machine/non threat, chams understand (threat or non threat)
