About a week ago my 6 month old veiled chameleon was not eating and a couple days later I noticed that his colors are dull and black. Then today I noticed he has sunken eyes. I gave him a bath with shallow warm water. I am out of options what to I do?!!!!He still has not eaten yet. Should I vary his diet.

veiled chameleon, male, 6 months of age in my care for 5 month
I handle my chameleon 2 times a week
I feed my chameleon 6 crickets by hand every other dayand I use repti-calcium with d3 once a week and zoo med multivitamin once a week and zoo med calcium without d3 every feeding I use a spray bottle and I spray him 4 times a day for 1 minute yes I see him drink
His poop Is black with white liquid around it and it is a soft consistency no he was not tested for parasites
No history I just got him at a reptile show
I have a reptibreeze screen cage and it is 16x16x 36
I have a zoomed basking build 75 watt and a zoomed 5.0 uvb bulb his lights are on 14 hours a day
The highest heat is 90 degrees and the middle is 78 degrees and the low is 70 degrees the lowest temp is 70 degrees I use a zoomed temperatur probe
The humidity in his cage is usually around 75 percent and I use a small hydrometer at the top of his cage I spray his cage down with water 4 times a day
I use a parlor palm and golden pothos
His cage is located in a corner in front of my bed and there is a heater for the room behind the cage not near any loud or high traffic area, the top of the cage is about five feet from the ground
I live in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania
My chameleon about a week ago had started to refuse eating. Then his colors turned all speckled and black. And today i noticed his eyes are sunken and his grip is weak. Also when he is in his cage I find him in the bottom of it.

He definitely needs a fecal test .not all sunken eyes cause by the dehydration,u need to bring in the freshest poop from ur cham n go see a chameleon specialist vet ,make that appointment so u can collect that poop accordingly, preferably in 1 to 2 hours time frame,so the vet can do the test n find out the results for ur cham.

This is the picture he posted in the photo contest which gave me reason to point him here for help. Looks salvageable but time is of the essence. I'd give him a week in his current shape without some changes, needs hydration for starters.

A vet visit too if the owner is new to a sick chameleons needs
