Help panther chameleon is dying I think!

Thanks everyone for the quick responses I appreciate it. Ill try the warm water see if it'll fall out and do you know of any eye drops or techniques I could try before going to the vet?

Its worth calling a vet, you don't want to jeopardize your chams heath due to financial strains. I've been in tough situations . If you explain your situation, they're more likely to help out (at least with advice) rather than tell you to go kick rocks. :)

I agree. If your guy is obviously not doing well you should take him to the vet. At the very least take a fecal sample to be tested and make sure he doesn't have any parasites.

I'm wondering that the UVB output of your $60 bulb is. 5.0? 10.0? Wattage has nothing to do with UVB.

Others have mentioned this already, but to reiterate it.

Humidity should rise and fall. Get it up to 70% and let it dry and drop down to about 30% before you mist again. And make sure the cage dries completely before lights go out and he's sleeping.

Plain calcium with no D3 every day.
D3 twice a month.
Multi-vitamins twice a month

Lettuce doesn't have much nutrition besides water. Commercialized, powdered cricket food doesn't either. You could use Repashy's Bug Burger with still feeding them greens and fruits. Carrots, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, radish greens, cilantro...

Hope he gets better and a vet to rule out any underlying problems is also always a good idea.

Good news is my chameleon lost the sperm plug it finally came out but his eyes are a little milky I've noticed on some forums people say vit A deficincy could be the case if so how would I give him it. I saw some people went to the pharmacy and just bought some from there but I was wondering if there is a smarter way of doing this or how to properly do this ifb it is the right thing to do. Sorry for all the questions he's my first chameleon and id like to do everything right.

As others have said its time for a vet. Giving different vits is not something you want to guess at. Chams are very sensitive to vitamins. Too much could cause toxicity. Milky eyes suggest infection to me.:(
