HELP SICK CHAMELEON

Hello everyone! I am so very upset, my come million seems to be sick. She is still eating (anywhere from 10-15 crickets a day), but appears weak and her eyes look tired.

I got load my crickets with orange cube Fluckers, and dust them with the rep to calcium from zoo med, and vitamins once a week.

Her cage stays consistently between 76 and 85°, she is misted three times a day, had a drip system that drips during the day. Her cage is an all screen enclosure!

When we first got her about five months ago she love to come out and was very friendly, however recently she seems more moody and doesn't like much interaction at all. She has only shed one time since I've had her, and I brought her to the vet about two months ago because she was looking chunky and I thought it was eggs, but the doctor said she was just fat. She has not layed sense we have had her,

I have attached pictures of her and her enclosure, please help me, I am devastated she's my little buddy.

Do u have a laying bin for her ? Is her enclure 85 just at basking ? Are u dusting with out D3 every feeding . You will need a better gut load .

Kristen: Yes the enclosure is only 85 at the basking area, and plenty of places to climb lower if she doesn't like the heat. Is D3 the same as calcium?! (I am so sorry this is my first chameleon and Petsmart did not do a good job explaining details). I just put a laying bin in her cage.

What would you recommend as a better guy load?!

Great on laying bin . Bug Burger is good you will have to order it . Or you can make you're own . You're calcium with D3 should be 2 times a month . Calcium with out D3 should be dusted every feeding . Multivitamin every other week . You should have 2 Calciums . You will need to order the calcium with out D3 . How long are you misting for ?

You can also use Repashy Calcium Plus. It's an all in one calcium and multivitamin suppliment

• Your Chameleon - veiled chameleon, I have had her five months, Petsmart said she was around five months when I got her, so I am guessing around 8-10 months old!
• Handling - "coco" used to LOVE to come out, when she would see me she would go right to the door, and I would bring her out in the sunshine! However her attitude has completely changed in the last two weeks, she no longer wants to come out or be held.
• Feeding - coco eats 10-15 crickets a day, and occasionally she will get a mealworm and lettuce. She eats in the morning (around ten). Her crickets are gut loaded with "Orange Fluckers", and are dusted daily with "zoo med" calcium, one a week we give her a COUPLE crickets with "zoo med" vitamin.
• Supplements - see above
• Watering - I miss Coco's cage 2 to 3 times a day for about five minutes each session. there is also a drip system in her cage that I allow to drip during the day. when I am misting she drinks! I see her drink almost every day.
• Fecal Description - her poop was normal, dark brown and white, however one time last week she had watery orange poop, this occurred after she ate a beetle. And went right back to normal.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Screen cage. 16 inches X16 inches and 30 inches tall.
• Lighting - uvb and a blue one that was 60 watt (They were included in the chameleon set up we bought) she gets 12 hours light 12 dark!
• Temperature - The temp in the basking spot is anywhere from 80-85, middle of cage is 75. I have a thermometer located in the cage.
• Humidity - We use a humidifier, but mostly done by misting.
• Plants - all plastic plants
• Placement - Our cage is located in the entryway where there is barely any traffic, there are no air vents or fans around.
