Is the Gular Crest under the mouth where the tounge is stored??

You said..."She opens and closes her mouth while moving her body around"....this is usually not a good sign. I would have it checked out by a vet. If it was just the gaping (mouth being open) then it could be the temperature....but if the body is "gyrating" then there is something more going on.
