HELP!!!!!!

Ivehad my female veiled for around 12 days and she is healthy and eats well and stays hydrated. She poops over a water dish I dump that her dripper drops in to, idk why but that's her spot. 8 went to dump the dish tonight and there was worms in her poop! They were clear with brown and red inside them. They were about half an inch long and were moving. I should have took a picture but I freaked out. What do I do?!?!
 
She needs a fresh fecal that has not been in water, taken into the vet. Then she will most likely be given parasite treatment.

Take a fresh stool sample to the vet. It sounds like she has parasites which should be easy to treat but you need to know exactly what kind of parasites. It isn't a big deal in an otherwise healthy animal. She'll be fine.
 
I agree with the above post, usually chams have a certain number of parasites in them naturally just from the feeders they eat and do just fine with them in their system. However whenever I see them in the stool it's in my opinion when the cham needs to be treated, parasites in stool usually means a rather heavy load. But parasites are rather easy to take care of, especially in captive bred animals.
 
Thank you! I'm going to try to find a local vet that will see her. The fact that they were about half an inch long and they were clear with red and brown in them scared me. There was two btw. I've never seen anything in her poo before and I clean it daily and then I go tonight and these worms were swimming around her poop.
 
No I've only fed her crickets from the pet store and I feed them romain lettuce and apples and powder coat them. I did try super worms and she wouldn't touch them.

That's all she will eat? If she is healthy should I treat her? Is there anything o can do for her without taking her to the vet? I don't really have the sources right now to take her, but I don't want her to get sick.
 
You may want to change the place you get your feeders from or type of feeders you use. I have not used crickets since my cham was over eight months old and switched to Dubia roaches as main feeder with some silk, horn, and super worms all farm raised and so far have always had (fingers crossed ) clean fecals.

Where do you buy them from? All I have is the pet store I got her from, which because of this forum I've learned the charms are unhealthy, and Petco. The crickets there were half dead. I did get her superworms from Petco but she wouldn't eat them.
 
You get roaches and silk and horn worms from the internet. You can also try pupa ting farm raised flies, or getting crickets from a different source.

Did your Cham take to them immediately? I tried for two days to get her to eat worms before I took them out because I was scared she would starve, lol. As I was putting the crickets in her cage she was eating them while I was still placing them so I know she was hungry she just refused the worms
 
How old is she? If she's a subadult she can easily go 1-2 weeks without eating and be fine. You have to make her hungry enough to try it. But super worms are not a good main feeder.

I've had her since the 17th and they said she was 1 1/2 to 2 months old. This was her sleeping last night. She has really fattened up since we've had her.

Also what should I dust with. The pet store had me purchase rep-cal vitamin with d3 but I read that some use it and some don't. Is it safe?
