Thank you so much, I'm filling it out nowShe could have something in her eye. You could try giving her a "shower" put a plant in the shower and put her on it, aim the shower head at the wall so the cast off most hits her/ the plant. with Luke warm water not hot.
Can you please fill out the info in the how to ask for help form so we can help better.

I was looking at The video I took of her today that I got her and set up her habitat. She was already showing signs of bruising which I had not noticed before. Should I take her to the bed at Petco ? I mean, they did tell mom I could take her back to their veterinarian free of charge for the first 30 days, and also she did come like this so if something is wrong I would like them to take a look at her since they gave her to my parents like this. I'm very scared because This is my first time owning a reptile. I have a small variety of pets already and I take great care of them but with being a good pet owner comes a lot of responsibility and worry. This is the most worried I've ever been, as she is the weakest pet I've ever had. ( and I have many... chinchillas, hamsters, cat, parakeets, zebra finches, dogs, sugar gliders... etc)I'll help with a few husbandry things that I can.
First, what do you mean yawning? That sounds like she's puffing up mad because you're holding her. Also don't feed mealworms. You need some good gutload. Add some different feeders (hornworms butterworms silkworms bsfl are great). D3 twice a month, multi twice a month, plain d3 and phosphorus free calcium daily. You need to mist longer I'm not exactly sure where veiled are on misting, but around 5 min straight, 3x a day should be good.
As for the eye, it could be many things(infection, parasite, deficiency, etc). Don't mean to give you a hard time, but petco is a terrible place to get chameleons and a lot from there tend to struggle. Look into a good vet around that has experience with chameleons(very important)
Good luck with her sorry this is happening
I'm so far from one, the only pet stores in Manhattan are chains like petco and petsmart. She's sleeping most of the time. Even in my hands when I held her .She's sleeping during the day and opening her mouth? Sorry just trying to understand a little. I'm not familiar with petcos vets, but personally I would look into a more chameleon experienced vet.
Also her nostrils look a little swollen and drippy. Yesterday they were full of white crust which I was told must be calciumShe's sleeping during the day and opening her mouth? Sounds like a URI . She need a good vet .I was looking at The video I took of her today that I got her and set up her habitat. She's not puffing up, she is sleeping and gently opening her mouth and making a sound as if she is trying to suck in air. I am crazy worried about this. I was told that I should force feed her crickets since he has not had any appetite at all. Aside from the food that I have given her myself, I've only see her eat one warm by herself.
Kristen! She's also got bubbles in her throats when she yawnsSounds like a URI . She need a good vet .
Classic signs of a respiratory infection . I have battle with my little girl veiled for almost a year . They turn to pneumonia very fast not something to mess around with . You will need a very good vet . See if @Andee or @kinyonga or @jannb have some words of Wisdom .Kristen! She's also got bubbles in her throats when she yawns
No she's a girl she has no spikes in her back feetAre you sure it's female? I may be wrong but kind of looks male to me
She was doing so well yesterday, she was sheddingThe sounds she's making, bubbles, etc sound like uri as mentioned. If she's sleeping in your hands she's in bad shape. A good vet is a must, but I'm also worried that the stress from a vet visit could be too much.
What do I do? I read in another post to turn on the hot water in my bathroom and sit with her to have her inhale the humidityThe sounds she's making, bubbles, etc sound like uri as mentioned. Chams tend to only show obvious symptoms when they are extremely sick unfortunately.[/QUOTE
