My male Oustalets Chameleon should be arriving tomorrow, I'm so excited lol.

Have his new home set up to my taste, looks pretty good to me. His temps and humidity are correct and I have plenty of gut-loaded crickets and other insects waiting too.

I mainly keep eyelash vipers and other reptiles, but I have to say that the chameleon is by far my favorite reptile to keep. Its also my first time keeping the Oustalets. There isn't all that much info on the Oustalets, as far as care sheets, but I'm pretty sure I have everything correct.

I am also curious as to the max age of the Oustalets. I think I remember reading they live 10-12yrs in captivity, is this correct?

I'm getting him from www.FLChams.com, but on their website it says 2 1/2 months on the profile, but then it says 4 months where you click "add to cart", so I'm not exactly sure.

ohh ok. i dont know much about them aside from they are one of the 3 largest? (something like that) and i would assume when its fully grown it would need a larger cage - if thats true or not i dont know but youll have lots of time to get another if it is.

im interested to see him once he shows up! sorry i cant help any but it looks good to me.

I will definatly post a pic when he arrives. Hopefully he wont be too stressed out but I know he will be because they all are after the bumpy dark ride lol.
