i find it funny you mention Laurie and Trace not liking this thread as they both arnt really into veiled and panthers as much as you may think.
Laurie is all about quads and really loves her mellers and Trace has kept and bred more trioceos and differnt species than most keepers i know of.
they will like the pics for sure.:)

YES, I´m REALLY tired of all the "see my pet chameleon.

I'm tired of people using the pop names, USE the scientific names!!

I'm tired of the topic/title names that people use, because of the stupid topic names, you have know idea what the thread is about! Why not just use the scientific name?? or just a title that decribes what the topic is about!?
I think there should be a "beginner" topic, where people can talk about Calyptratus and paradalis.

I'm sick and tired of all the SMALL and "bird like" cages people use.

I'm tired of seeing photos of chameleons sitting on peoples arms/ hands, THEY ARE NOT PETS, they should be in their cages!! just like fish, they are not pets either. If you really love your chameleons, then leave them alone and keep it as natural as possible. Understand what species you are working with and where they come from. Again, chameleons/ reptiles are NOT PETS!

I'm tired of people not taking the time to built a proper and natural cage for their chameleons.

I'm tired of people not using the search function, we see the same questions over and over again.

I'm really REALLY tired of people with "no" experience, giving bad advices.

I like the idea with this international chameleon forum, as we can share our experience, but with that many new topics each day, and most of them being really lame (sorry folks), most of the time, I don´t even bother looking through the topics :/

So yes, I'm also tired of PARADALIS and CALYPTRATUS threads ;)

Maybe you just weren't meant for the "community forum" type of thing. You could try starting a couple more scientific focused threads and only follow those, disregard the other ones, nobody can make you read anything that doesn't interest you except yourself.

I understand your concerns and expectations.. I would also like so see more of what you ask for. Im sure most on the forum are fairly new to keeping Chams and lets face is Paradalis and Calyptratus are the "entry level" Chams.

Anyway, on with the thread. :)

PS: I love your Chams and enclosures by the way. lol. I'll get there one day soon.
 
Let's not sidetrack the thread, so far it's a lot of fun looking through all these great species. And let's not hate on panthers and veileds either, species that many people adore and are more than content owning, with or without the addition of other rarer species to their collection. Anyone who is tired of seeing the same things over and over should just post more threads about the uncommon species they own, so we can see more variety.

THIS IS NOT AN ANGRY MESSAGE. hey!! i agree with some of the things you say but we also need to remember that this forum was made for all levels of keeping yes it worries me when people give bad advice im sure i have done it at one point but therefore we have more than one member on the forums so that we can all learn from each other. As far as using scientific names that would great i like the idea! i also want to point out that you have a spelling error when referring to "pardalis". im not sure if that was intensional or not. but it just shows we all learn from each other. :) again please don't take this the offensive way.:) i love seeing all this great chams and great pictures!!:D
