He lives in Europe. Move there and you too can have the rarest of the rareYouve seen my tenuis before, and dwarf fischers;-)
good luck haha those chameleons are hard to get nearly impossiable! we all want one. wish chris could get permission to bring some of these guys back from africa with him.
You have much to learn grasshoppaWe (meaning, anyone in the US) can get bradypodion! you just have to have enough $. They come in from Germany legally as captive bred juveniles with cites papers, thats how I got mine, through cainschams (Jared). The kind I have, B. transvaalense are $800 a pair, B. thamnobates are about the same, B. setaroi can also be brought over but not sure how much. B. pumilum and B. damaranum are around $1500 a pair. Everyone keeps saying they wish they could get some, well you can if you have the cash. Jared and I were trying to get a large enough group interested in some so he could bring them in this spring or fall but no one is serious enough besides me and maybe one or two other people so it wouldnt be worth it for everyone involved unfortunately.
Also, T. werneri are not that difficult to keep if you have kept any montane species for any decent period of time. You are keeping K. multituberculata so Im sure you would do fine with them although they only come in as w/c and often need to be treated for parasites and most come in heavily dehydrated. If they get through the first few months generally they are very robust and easy to care for. They have big "muscles" for a chamkinda like T. johnstoni or K. matschiei, beefy arms.
If you are serious about it, you will need to make a deposit before they even get here and will need to talk to Jared about it, and try and get as many others in on it as possible so it can actually happen.
Pretty sure thats all. I asked about bringing over minor, tenuis, oxyrhina but no can do.
