Welcome to the forum!

New chams can take a while to get used to their new homes, so it is best to just let him get used to the new enclosure and feed and water him without any attempts to tame or handle just yet.

This blog by forum member Psychobunny is a very good one about taming a cham

You may also want to have a look here at Screameleons page and videos on how to properly handle a chameleon.
It tells you how to handle them with minimal distress---even the aggressive ones.

I see you're asking a lot of questions about your cham, which is good.
Far better to ask what to do before there's a problem or an illness.
Have a look at the pages in the Resources section because there's a ton of info there.
Here is one excellent page there about Veiled (Yemen) chams https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/

Because you are an owner who is interested in learning, your cham can have a healthy and long life with you. :)

You're very welcome!
Hope you find all you need in the linked pages .
We never tire of discussing chams here, so don't be afraid to post.
People on the forum love pictures of chams, too.
