ok,so yesterday he fell from 8inch from my hand when he saw a fly!everything was ok,he ate, drank etc!
Today was the same except he has low apetite!nice poop, urates, drank a lot!he ate only one medium dubia!i dont know if this is a new hunger strike-i tried and he wanted to eat mealworms but no roaches or crickets!
I do not see any broken leg,rib or any change of his behaviour!i will try to get him new bugs and see what happens!ah and it passed a month since his last shed so maybe he has pre shed hunger strike, this could lower his apetite!i will watch him closely and get him to a vet in a day or two!any ideeas or sugestions?

My chameleon did that once, but I gave hm some vitamin A in his water and I got him a humidifier for his cage. He ate a couple days later. He could have a vitamin A deficiency. Vets are a lot of money, so I would try vitamin A until you go to a vet.

Just because the cham fell and is not eating that much today does not mean its a vitamin A problem or a set up problem..... Were did you come up with all this info that supports your post related to the problem above......

Op. Keep a eye on your cham I am sure he is fine and just a little shookin up as long as nothing looks broke or anything else looks out of place besides feeding. Just give him a little time to calm down. Also don't offer worms for a few days its like crack to chameleon lol. Just offer crickets and roaches.

Lol millworm rehab that's good.... And yeah just keep a eye on him I am sure he is just a little scared from the fall.

It doesn't count as a hunger strike unless its at least 3 days :)............you still worry too much :)

still not eating .... he drinks a lot but he wont touch any roach or cricket !
his skin kinda looks a little wrinkled- i suppose shedding coming very soon !
well thats all for now ! ill keep posting ,tnx

and i changed back the 75 watt neodymium bulb to the former i used 60w maybe he was over heating ! just curious if i can see any improvement !

just started to shed , the strange thing is that i offered a fresh molted white dubia that he ate it and i went to the petshop and got a can of silkworm ( i know canned food is bad but since i dont have any other feeder that he would eat i tought just to try it and see what happens) and he ate one !

1st time he saw a white molted dubia and 1st time he saw a canned silkworms - did he ate them becose he was curios and he was bored of crickets, normal dubia and lobster roach? shedding mood ?

and he pooped today as if he ate normal yesterday -big poop !

any ideeas?

It just seems like he is in shed and not in a good mood I am sure after his shed he will hopefully go back to his normal eatting behaviors.

Sometimes they wont want food before and durring a shed and other times they will eat like little pigs!! go figure!!
Yes, they also get grumpy when they shed. Wouldnt you?! ;)

Sometimes my veiled will take food from my hand, and other times I have to stick the prey on a branch and back away!! again, go figure!!

They are just very tempermental. It's their nature, they cant help being annoying!! LOL
