today i decided since hunter is finishing up a shed and still had some skin on his eye, i would give him a shower to help him get it off. i have never showered a chameleon before but i feel that it was a huge success! i put a tree in the shower and put pretty warm water aimed at the wall so there was a nice mist on one side of the tree, and on the other side it was mist free so he could stay away from the water if he didn't like it. he was very frantic at first but then settled in and let the warm water run over him. he was opening his mouth a little to catch some of the water, and did lots of eye cleaning. currently he is in the sun drying off and soaking up some UVB rays as a reward for being good.
