There's a couple site sponsors (top right hand corner) that specialize in just food for your friend(s). Mulberry farm is one, I've ordered with them, and they have TONS of feeding options. There is another, but I forgot there name. You can also buy him mantids and there are many types of roaches people breed and feed to their chameleons. If you are going to feed super and meal worms, make sure neither make up more then 10% of the diet. Also make sure they aren't to big so they don't cause impaction and are fed equally with a more soft bodied feeder. Wax worms should also be fed in moderation. They are more of a treat because they are high in fat and low in nutrition. Repti worms and phoenix worms are one in the same, and are also called calci worms. Silk worms are a great addition I forgot to add! They can usually tempt that picky eater into eating and are good for hydration. Warning though, both hornworms and silkworms grow at an alarming fast rate. Sometimes they reach a full grown size (4 inches) in two weeks! And lastly, make sure that any crickets, roaches and shortage you have are gutloaded. Gutloading helps the insect become better for the chameleon and give it the right nutrients and everything. Hornworm and silkworms need mulberry food you can buy through mulberry farms or just get mulberry leaves. I hope this helped!

P.S. welcome to cf! This is a great place to learn and we are happy to have you here. :) I also think I might buy a variety pack from Linda now that I found that site. Lol. Thanks!

Welcome to the Chameleon Forum this is a GREAT place for advice, sharing experiences, and meeting people who all share a love for chameleons. We ALL LOVE pictures so when you get a chance to post a picture we would all love to see your new little guy. Chameleons can be very addictive, They are like Pringles " betcha can't have just one" :D :D
