and i was disappointed...only 1 sad panther male and female pair, the guy didnt even know what locale they were...they looked like sambava...they were sad and the male was all green with black bars and red eye turrets.
Most every show i have been to is designer balls, dragons and lep gecko's. It's a rare sight to see chameleons and even rarer still to see people who specialize in just chameleons! These are just the shows i've been to in the mid-atlantic region i don't know what they are like else where ,better i hope.
sorry to hear it wsnt that good, i only been to two shows out here and both were alot of fun seems we get a few more chams here, but even seein all the snakes and other reptiles is cool...
Usually I only go to the Hamburg, PA show. There was a few more chams than usual at the last one I went to, but nothing like some of the other shows I see pics of here. I agree about the designer balls, dragons, and leo's. Those and corn snakes. I have nothing against them, and own some too, but chameleon specific vendors would be nice. Hopefully Chuck shows up at Hamburg for one of the upcoming shows now that the weather is cooler
Yeah I know what you mean. I went to my local show last sunday (Kansas City) and was pretty disappointed. I didn't stay too long, but I only saw some sad looking veileds and even sadder jacksons. If I were into snakes, then the show would have been much better, haha. I did pick up some dubias at a decent price, 100 mixed for $30
