Im not to sure if my chameleon has mouth rot

Today as I took my chameleon out of his cage he opened his mouth and it appeared deep in the mouth was black and no yellow teeth pus ore anything like that I just want to know if its Normal

Is the "No" no picture or no swelling?
A picture would help so much because we (community) can give you the proper directions. You might see black teeth but we might notice discoloration somewhere else/swelling or nothing. We are here to help if you really want help. (y)
Also, issues with chameleons need attention quickly, since they can "literally" crash within hours (aka die).
If you can't send a picture because of equipment issues, then find a picture that looks similar----copy and paste so we can help.
Either way--- a vet visit would solve many questions, since they would not need a picture. :) (y)

Some flaps have yellow inside the mouth others have pink…I’m not sure about black. It could be normal.
A photo would help.
