I got Carlos on the 3rd of November, from Hoj (forum member).
He is a Mr Grumpypants, but I'll do everything to make him like me. :)
Carlos is a blue bar ambilobe. Some members probably remember me, I had veiled(s) before, but then I thought I'll get a panther.
So here he is, healthy little beauty-grumpypants. :) I attache some pics about him when we got him and since (btw he at least doubled his size since we got him)
Love him! I can watch him all day long... :)

Thank you so much Jann! I think he is handsome indeed! Doesn't let me to touch him though! :D

I think being social or not all depends on how they are raised. I am hands on with my babies from hatch so that makes them very friendly. :) Keep working with him and he should come around.

How old is Carlos? He looks to be about the same size as mine, but definitely showing more color. My Panther is approximately 4 months old with basically no colors except for some tiny red dots on his belly.

He is going to be 5 months old in this month. I'm sure yours will show more and more soon! He started to show more about 2 weeks ago. The pictures doesn't give it back right, but he has red on his belly too!

But that's just it, he's been handled quite a lot! What we can think of is, that he has this proper enclosure just for himself and he just got territorial... Could this be?

It sounds cliche, but treasure the time they are little. Seeing the colors come in brighter with each shed is great but they are only babies for a little while. I still can't believe that our guys were so small looking back at pictures and they're not even a year old yet!

They really do grow fast :(

Beautiful, I can't believe how fast all reptile babies grow. That time goes by so fast. I sat in front of my cages when all of them were babies and just watched them. So cute to see there little movements.

That is so true! I do the same thing! Just watch him for hours...

His greens are really coming in! My guy at 4.5 months is still only showing a little green on his cheeks and red specks on the underbelly. Of course he hasn't shed yet, but our panthers seem to be on the same path. :D
