Introducing Midori and Tokolosh

I was FINALLY able to get my new scale and weigh my male. He is a solid 470 grams and when I catch the female in an easy to wrangle spot, I'll be eager to see her weight. Both are avid, daily eaters and a fantastic pair of animals in every way.

The female is shedding and almost complete. Her VERY gravid weight is 350 grams and she continues to put away 2 dozen or more large crickets daily. Her new skin is beautiful! Her new colors are shown in the last photos of her.

Got around to weighting these guys, almost a year later and the male is now 520 grams and the female is 600 grams. The male went on a 4 month spell, over the Summer, where he’d only eat once a week. He’s back to eating every other day or so and I believe it’s was just a matter of him adjusting to the reversal in our seasons compared to those of Madagascar. This year, we are selling our house and moving to the west coast of FL, so my parsonii will be enjoying almost year round outdoor accommodations. I’ve really enjoyed having the pair and watching them grow and adjust to life here.

I’m trying to find as warm and humid as possible, without being too hot, as unlikely to be flooded during a hurricane as possible, and as frost free as possible, ideally with a private backyard of at least 1/2 acre, somewhere progressive and with good job opportunities, in the outer burbs of a city. I’m looking strongly at Hillsborough and St.Petersberg.

Yeah, from Pasco County south will mostly avoid frost, but in certain areas the temps can vary drastically. I was so confused by the weather reports when I first got here :D.

Awesome! Some great towns in the area. If you have any questions just let me know. I'm north of Tarpon Springs but know a lot of the area.

Where city are you in? I'm off 19 where Holiday and Newport Richey meet.

Look carefully as far as Tampa and St Pete go. Some areas of both cities flood during a regular thunder storm at times though St Pete is supposedly working on the storm sewers after being busted for dumping all that sewage into the bay last year.
