View attachment 187139 This is my sweetheart Pickle. He is an adult male veiled. He was in a sitatution where he was very unhappy. He received excellent care, but a smallish cage, and black all the time. I was warned about how mean he was, but being me, I put out my hand and he walked right onto it! The others were a good bit shocked! At that minute I knew he was mine. It took some serious talking to get them to sell him, but finally $200 plus shipping, and he is happy. He is also beautiful. I just fell in love! There was no way I could leave him there! Yes, he had the correct temps, the correct lighting, cage was small but well landscaped. The problem, as I saw it, was he was bought to be a breeder, and when he would not breed, he was pretty much forgotten. In my world, it also takes

Pickle is a very lucky and handsome chap, he sounds like my Veiled Perry, stacks of personality and I'm besotted with him.
