Jackson chameleon Calcium

You need more branches for climbing. The cham only has 1 path, and one or two places to perch along the top. It doesn't leven look like the cham can get to within 10-12" of the UVB (assuming that it is a UVB)

If I am wrong, I apologise as it can be deceiving in pictures.

Is it just me or does it look like she doesn't have a uvb light still, from the photo it just looks like a blue basking bulb.

Some of y'all need to be more positive with Haileybug. What happened with the veiled sucks but we (chameleon forums) can't change the fact that she now has a more unique chameleon to take care of. Please listen to the advice given, I'm sure you don't want to be in the same boat months down this road. If I were you, I'd drill holes in the bottom (assuming it's PVC) so the water has somewhere to drain. You will HAVE to provide much more water than with a veiled. I'd also recommend placing the cage on a wire rack so you can put a resevoir bucket underneath to avoid flooding the cage and/or your floor. I literally read researched for a year before I took the plunge and I'm still learning things. Good luck with your Jackson's.

I have s

13 watt UVB and a 60 watt uva
Yep, that's it. Stay with the recommendations here and you should have a better outcome. I think that you have had other reptiles before based on your posts, so I think that you can do this.

Okay ! Can I use sticks
Live plants help keep humidity. Ficus, umbrella and pothos are nontoxic and recommended, and can bought cheaply at places like Home Depot and Lowes. I bought a pack of bamboo at Home Depot, a 6 pack pf 5 foot rods for $2.17 or a 6ft for $.27

I also used some from my back yard but they need to be bleached 1:10 dilution with water. I also baked them at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Members say that the bark can stay, but I removed it as it was falling off after the bleach and baking. But the bamboo is much easier.

Your cage needs to be taller, width is ok but the length definetly needs to be higher. Also hibiscus plant! They're very inexpensive right now! I just bought a really beautiful full one for $19 at my local husbandry. :)

Also just don't even ask the guys at PetCo anything about chameleons or crickets. If they try and give you advice just ignore them and direct them to this website so they can be well informed. Amazon is your best friend! Also if you're a student Prime is free for 6 months!

Do yourself a huge favor, and plan for a way to catch and drain the water in your new custom cage. I've used a plastic pan, they sell at Home Depot or Menards, meant for washing machines. It's square and has a hole you can knock out and attach a drainage tube. I attached a tube and sent the waste water to a bucket, so I could empty it once a week. Made it a lot easier. It's easier to plan it during the build than try to fix it later.
You could also look for the plastic pans they sell for dog crates or rabbit cages, they look like they would work, too.

I went into petsmart and asked for a multivitamin and calcium with no D3 they gave me this
Dont listen to them. When I go into any store, no matter which one, the very first thing i say is, 'what do you, personally, know about chameleons? Then i decide if im listening. Companies dont hire their employees for what they know, they hire them to sel their poducts.
