He seems to only change colors at night or when he knows for a fact no one is around watching himyou would have to make sure the water isn't going right on him and that its not too hot

He's a very unique little guy tho same with Camille I love waking up trying. To find him and then looking for him again before I go to sleep I am VERY cautious of the way he moves and I make sure he eats the cricket count I put in his habit especially if they're dusted I read they come from the mountains so they should be cool misted but if I cool mist him he'll dart his body and run but with the warm he'll sit so I drop fairly coolish warm water As well as a cool mist humidifier and warm water to mist him withIm not sure about the colors but I do know that dark colors can mean stress or when they are basking
I've had him for a week now and you're right he's very cautious and aware of me sometimes he'll hide behind his leaves on his branch until I move away but he no longer try's to bite me or flair his body up st me and he's starting to hold his tail out instead of curling it now if someone else handles him persay when it Is Time for me to clean the terrerium he will curl his tail and he holds his arm to his chest and is just very stillhow long have you had him? he may still be scared or not used to you yet.
Or another example if I put his bowl of worms in his cage he will flare curl the tail and hide until I take them out the crickets he's already ready to get them when I put them in his cage He knows when it's bed time and time to get up I've tried to regulate those times very close to eachotherhow long have you had him? he may still be scared or not used to you yet.
