Just an idea, for my enclosure.

Well, I've been pondering about my chameleons enclosure, I'll begin to build it soon. But I want it to be all planned out first. Here's a plan for the top. My concern, with this idea, is weight, and un-even distribution through the holes in the PVC, or not enough pressure VIA gravity, for the mist nozzel.

Just curious as to why you have an on/off ball valve on your misting system. assuming you will have a pump that goes on and off itself.

No. If you look close at my drawing, that the nozzel, or drip pipe, is below the water tank, making gravity do the work. That way, I can controll the ammount of water comming out without using electricity.

Without a pump, you wont get the pressure needed to mist at all, the water will simply drip or run out of your nozzles, not to mention the weight of the water tank sitting up and above the enclosure. Would be hard to fill and probably messy...1 gallon of water is about 8-9 pounds so take that in mind on the size of your tank as well...

Hmm, that's what I was thinking as well. I suppose I'll have to go out and buy a Misting Kit then, or maybe just make my own. We'll see.

Thanks everyone!
