Kobe our Nosy Be

Nice looking boy, I also like your outdoor cages, did you have a thread about those cylinders at one point? If no, then you should.

Somebody else had a thread about them, but I don't remember whom specifically posted it and the search engine is.... well, it's not much help.

It's just those plastic floor protectors for potted plants, LOTS of zip ties, and some 1/4" plastic screening (usually found in the outdoor/gardening section of your hardware store). We got the largest size we could find and with a hole-punch we just punch holes out all along the top portion of the plastic protectors. After that we cut the screen to fit the inside perimeter of the plastic protector and just zip tied the screen along the edge, making sure that the screen runs very tightly along the inside of the protector. After that we tie up the seem running up the side of the cage with more zip ties and put another protector on the top to make a screen sandwich. To provide access to the cage, don't completely zip tie the top protector making a "hinge" of sorts, and use bungies or rope to keep the lid closed while you have your cham in there. I will take pictures next time we make some. Thanks for asking!
