Sad to say..most chams aren't always friendly. My guy Fred was so friendly... now he wants to bite my hand off when its in his cage..... His cage is a bit diff now after moving..... I think once he chills out he'll be like he used to be. He used to walk out onto my hand when I opened the cage... time will tell.

he sounds like most veileds mine is the same way until he comes out of his cage then he turns into a happy guy. then he randomly decides everything must die. then he calms down again

After Hurricane Ike we got him from someone that lost their house to all the water/flood damage we had down here... dont know any of his history cept that hes a year old and the short casque head thing is from something that happened when he was younger... its a 5.0 tropical uvb strip light on top of his cage

A 5.0 tube lamp? and is there anything between the lamp and him other than the screen of the cage?

no I heard that anything else between them could make the light useless >.> he also has another uvb 5.0 light bulb thing halfway down his cage where he can chill infront of it on his fave branch
