Did a little staining on the doors today.
Right two door panels need more stain. Hopefully all staining is done tomorrow! Lol

Well I was going to apply the clear yesterday.
But unfortunately after stopping for a few paint brushes and some other supplies I blew a rear brake cylinder on my truck. Corrected that issue last night so I should be applying the first coat of clear when I get home today.

Lots of work but little to show for it. Lol
6 coats of a marine grade clear on the inside. 3 coats of satin Polyurethane on the exterior.
I will be painting the inside of of the enclosure base tomorrowand. Also making up the screens while I wait for the clear to finish curing. I should be putting the glass in Tuesday and painting the marine grade black in the bottom of each enclosure Wednesday. Then let it all cure till Sunday.

Update. I have been working on the enclosure a few hours a night. It’s getting closer to being done but progress has slowed due to my kids sports and their end of year concerts.
I Painted the back and inside of the enclosure base Kona brown. Sanded and primed the inside of the enclosure bottom. Disassembled 3 twenty gallon tanks, 1 fifteen gallon tank and 1 fourty gallon tank. Cut all the glass to size.
I should be painting the enclosure bottom tonight with its first coat of marine grade gloss black. Then hopefully start putting in the glass.

Got a little work done today. Put the first of four coats of marine grade black on the bottom of the enclosure. Trimmed the top 1.5” off of the 2 five gallon buckets I will be using as planters. When the black paint is finished and cured I will be siliconing the part I removed into the hole. That way when the buckets are placed in the holes there will be a drip edge. I will also be able to easily remove them. I still need to drill the bottom of the buckets so I can install 1/2” bulkheads that will be used as drainage.
