That Ambilobe looks an awful lot like my Sambava... You sure he is an Ambilobe? Very handsome guy!

Well Leo is my first chameleon so by no means am I an expert on locals but the breeder I got him from showed me the sire. I am curious on other opinions though. I really know nothing about Sambava's lol. This is Leos dad Rampage.

Im pretty sure thats a Sambava nothing wrong with that he is a pretty boy. But ya he is a Sambava

I agree. Methinks you have a Sambava, not an Ambilobe. The color patters are just too reminiscent of my boy (confirmed from Kammers to be a 100% Sambava CB). Sambavas are GORGEOUS. Definitely nothing wrong with that brother. My Sambava is capable of an UNBELIEVABLE range of colors. He is mega super pretty.

I just saw that picture of Leo's dad. Looks super Sambava, but possibly maybe could be Red Bar Ambilobe. The red bars sometimes look an awful lot like a Sambava.

Wow I can see what you're saying especially from the first two pic's! I would love to hear what the experts say but they seem quite so far on this post lol. I've never seen a Sambava in real life but I'll take that as a compliment, they're beautiful! This is from the breeders site this is what it says about Rampage


Rampage is a Ambilobe Panther Chameleon. At rest he is a beautiful green body, red bar that fires up to a stunning yellow body, red barred chameleon. Rampage has clutches currently incubating from is dates with Rogue and Nora. Both lines are red bar lines and we are excited to see what they produce. Babies should be available in late 2016
