Time for an update. Had him outside and have never seen him look like this

No I don't think he is a Sambava. Almost all Sambavas have a "U" bar. The second bar is formed in the shape of a U. Yours has a bar that comes all the way down in a V. JMO

A pic of one of my Sambavas who has passed away. Notice how the second bar does not connect all the way down to the bottom and forms a "U". This is a characteristic of the Sambava. BTW who is the breeder? I don't think the sire is a Sambava either! Just my opinion!

Well this is Leo's 1 year hatch day so I did a photo session. Enjoy! If i sneak up on him I see yellows and greens but as I opened the cage he darkens up.

Agreed, they are. I have a pair of Nosy Boraha coming from them later this month. My third purchase from them over the past few years. They have beautiful animals and a true passion for the hobby.
