Don't rule it out. The third picture is a little suspect. A picture with him just sitting naturally, not struggling/reaching/tense will give you a better idea of what is going on. Chameleons are shape shifters so sometimes pictures can be quite inaccurate.

A gym membership might be a good idea. ;)

wow what a big boy , my pantha is only 60g however she's only 11 months. Hes got some big old limbs on him !! good looking boy though
 
I'm glad I found this post, because when the vet weighed my guy at 291g the other day I thought there had to be a misunderstanding.

Pictures can be tricky things. My guy here could either be chubby or starving based on these two shots, but the truth is these are just moments when his anatomy contorted to some strange shape. He has a normal shape, normally. He's just large.
