Hey,
I am moving from the Florida Keys and driving up to Philadelphia later this month. Unfortunately, I can not bring my 1 year old Nosy Mafana/Mitsio with me. He is a beautiful male who has been housed outdoors since I acquired him from Dean Paolucci last November. He eats like a pig, is active, and drinks very well.
He is perfect in everyway, except for one small problem. He has swollen scent glands which are located just in front of hip joints on his back legs. (I never knew chams had scent gland until I saw this). Evidently, this condition is not a big deal, but he is currently on some anitbiotics to alliviate the swelling according to my vet Dr. Doug Mader. For those of you who dont know, Dr. Mader quite literally wrote the book on reptile medicine and has a column in Reptiles magazine.
Anyway, because of this I am willing to let him go for $300. Being that I will be traveling up the coast later this month, I can delivery him any where in between Florida and Philadelphia, up to an hour off of I-95. I can also meet anywhere in the South Florida area. I can also provide a large dubia colony along with him.
Please contact me with questions via PM or @ [email protected].
I'll get some pics of his glands shortly.
Thanks for looking!
