I'm probably going to be getting a veiled cham this summer and I figured that once males reach maturity they would turn into little jerks, no? I know some people have different results reading around on the forum, but isn't it the general consensus that veileds are normally a bit more antisocial? I'm really thinking I want a veiled because they are the cheapest option and this will be my first cham. I was wondering though, are females generally less aggressive? I didn't want to deal with the gravid thing, but I think if she'd be friendlier I could deal with it.
What are your experiences with male vs. female veiled chameleons in terms of aggression twords their handlers?
Help me decide, please! I tried the pros and cons of both..and darn it they balance out!
Male pros:
-More colorful
-Less maitenence
Male cons:
-Larger
-Jerkholes (?)
