So the mississauga reptile expo is this coming weekend! Who's going? What are you going for/or selling?
I am going to try to squeeze it in first thing in the morning before i head to a baptism. I need supplies and would love to get a mistking. Not planning on getting another chameleon yet, but, if i see something i like
i may not be able to resist :)

The last couple times I've been to shows they have had no silks or hornworms. All I need is feeders so I will probably skip this one.

unfortunetly im not gonna go to this one :( too much school work XD exams are soon too. But i may go to the one in ottawa in december depending on the date

I have been planning on going to this one for a while now- I am so excited- it will be my first show!!!!!:D

I wanted to drive up for the show but with our rotten weather (yours & mine) I may not be up for a while and am going to miss the show.:(

Maybe next year!! :D

EDIT: And if the weather is crappy next year Laurie, i expect you to buy a snowmobile and drive up to Mississauga anyway!! :p

I went to my first one in April of this year and have been to all of them since (so Apr, June and Sept) and i still get excited! :D

Maybe next year for me too. I've gone to them for many many years...even when they would have a symposium with speakers coming from all over the world....but not for the last 2 or 3 years since my husband died. We both enjoyed it...makes me sad to go now.

Ok Lynda, Marc & I are going next year.!!!! We are all 3 committing now. I may fly up since I don't think I would do well on a snowmobile, it is a dame long drive in my Yukon with every bell & whistle, trust me, i need the bells & whistles to keep me awake.

Well it's not quite the same without you and Jim. Let me know when you do decide to come back and I'll be there for sure.

If you are going to do a Canadian/Toronto show I recommend the larger Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo in September over the regular November show and even the spring and summer shows. It's far bigger, better selection and there's usually speakers and other things going on. Weather is better too!

That means when exactly, Tracey? Because i am pretty much open to suggestions! :) And if we know a few months before, we should all be able to find the time to go there! :) Id be very happy to listen to a few speakers, and to see the rarest species available!

Anyway, no matter when we go, it will be a pleasure to meet you there Tracey! :)

Oh pfft. I'm not that exciting. Unless of course you want to be bored to tears about the bitaeniatus complex then I'm your gal.

Yeah sorry, I should have given a linkie to the big CRBE show. I'm not sure what the dates will be for the 2011 show but it's usually mid September. http://www.reptilebreedersexpo.ca/

Here a list of the other eastern Canada-ish (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa) shows for you Marc: http://reptileexpo.ca/ (I'll answer your PM shortly too)

Both those sites should be updated early in the new year.

Cheers,
T

I'm going to aim for the Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo in September too...I just hope nothing comes up to stop me from going!

Thanks Trace. I miss seeing everyone too.

Well, if we had to meet and attend to an Expo, why not going to the biggest one? So if you say this is Mississauga in september (usually), i don't see any reason to not go to this one! Especially since this would be in the early next year's semester, which means i can more easily miss classes! :D And if Lynda goes there at that time, you can count on me to do everything i can to attend it! :)

Tracey, just in case you didn't know, the last time you said i'd get bored by something related to you, you were completely wrong! So it won't scare me this time! :D And if someone really had to be scared and worried, it would be you, Lynda and Laurie for hearing my bad and weird French accent for a whole week-end! :p

I'll be there... I'll have the works, but if you need something specific for pick up, let me know

Ok Let's at least get the 4 of us there. It will be like when i fly to Florida. i own timeshares so it there is one in the area I will see what I can book. If I get a 2 bedroom I can share a bedroom, one of the other lovely ladies gets the second bedroom & Marc being the kid of the group gets the pull out bed in the living room. Will that work for everyone? i alway offer extra bedroom to members when I am in Florida, so this time you can all be my guests. Now what dates and how long are we staying?

I don't know how long we will be staying Laurie, and i don't really care where I sleep, as long as it's not too expensive! Since in september i might be coming in motorcycle (like a 12 hour ride), i will most likely be very weather dependant!

Marty, it would be great to see you there! If i ever need anything i'll hook you up before! :)

And if we are at Mississauga, Lynda will have a few places to show us, including the Pub she's always talking about, and some restaurants! :)

You know Lynda, i am very hypocrite! So what i say in private is rarely what i say in public!! :p :D
