In a few months I will be moving around 21hrs away from wear I currently live. I contacted the shop I bought two of my adult panthers chameleon from. What they recommended was water them heavily the night before. On the morning of the move, place them in a critter keeper with a place to perch and some type of heavily moistened substrate on the bottom. Then create a dark spot for them for them to travel in.
My concern is that it is such a long drive I will most likely have to stop over night for my two kids. So I would leave one day and arrive the next. I'm worried due to the fact they will have to travel along time without heat, being in a small enclosure for a long period, and probably not drinking much, if not at all because of the traveling. I'm hopping to be able to pull some advice from some of you who may have or who may have some ideas or concerns.
Thank you all for your time
Zach
