Mt Meru babies at 3 months

These guys hit three months old on the 3rd. All are doing great. I thought we had 3 males and 2 females but one of the females turned out to be a male. I transfered them to 18x18x36 cages but they turned black and stayed that way for several days so I moved them back to the butterfly cages for a while longer.

They are eating bean beetles, house flies, bb flies,walking sticks ,crickets and small hornworns.

They're really shy so it's hard to get any good shots.

This guys horn has a hook in the end. so we call him Captain hook.

I've never bred j jacksonii, but compared to j xantholophus their horns are growing faster. Their body size is probably slightly smaller though.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them all yet. I will be getting some from Paul on his import and will probably breed these with those.
