My 10,000th post!

Well not posting this to brag or get a pat on the back. I decided I wanted to make my 10,000th post on here a meaningful one. There are a few things I have learned as a member for the past 2 1/2 years on Chameleon Forums:
I have learned that you can NEVER stop learning.
I have learned that the number of posts does not equal your knowledge
about chameleons. (myself included)
I have learned that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I have learned that people ask for advice, but do not always follow it.
I have learned that people do not do enough research.
I have learned that there is no such thing as the "perfect keeper".
I have learned that no matter how proper the care, chameleons get sick.
I have learned what works for one may not work for another.
I have learned variety is KEY.
I have learned it is important to have a vet that KNOWS chameleons.

I would like to say I hope out of my 10,000 posts, that I have helped some people along the way and maybe even saved a life or two. I would like to thank all the people who have taught me along the way and put me in my place when I needed it. And to all who have set the record straight and inspired me to be the best keeper that I can be...THANK YOU!!!

Congratz Carol, I have not been on lately due to personal reasons but it is nice to see someone like yourself that isn't stuck up and loaded up on their ego like many other forums. Posts does not equal power and you obviously understand that very well. You are a fantastic member and you have helped me countless times so thank you and congrats! I'm sure there will be many more posts

Congrats Carol, I must be old, I remember when you were a brand spanking new member. It has been a journey hasn't it? I am amazed how much i have learned and am still learning for the forum. I can attest to you learning a lot since joining. I often say post and reputation points do not equal knowledge, I know they don't in my case.

A lot of people are on here for a while and just quit taking time to help new people, or anyone who needs a question answered. I know we don't always agreed on things but I see that as good. All of us need to look at others opinions and see what we can use from them. i admire the time a dedication you put in on the forum. This forum is a better place for that.
