male panther.
handle him every other day
crickets,a locusts. yes gutloaded. bug grub + carrots. feed him every other morning
dusted with multi vitamin every 3 feeds
drinks from bottle so i see him drink. mist 3-4 times a day for 3mins
dropping isn't as often as they used to be. there a dark brown greyish hue.
not been tested for parasites

setup:
its mesh
exo terra flexarium
100w basking bulb. exo terra 5.0 uvb bulb
bottom of the tank is 23c and basking spot is 29-30c lowest temp at night is about 17-18c i use digital thermometers
around 50% a hour before lights go off. in the day i try to keep it about 70-80 if i can. drys out very quick as its mesh.
i use a plam plant and a umbrella plant
tanks in my room.
devon UK.

the last couple of days he seems very depressed if a cham can be depressed. colours are very dull. when basking he goes a dirty grey/brown ( hes not gone this colour when basking before)

If he has already shed I would say he should get a fecal to discount parasites.

Regards,
Nate

Hi there! I think he's probably cold, 18c is only about 65f. For an adults male veiled you could go to 90f which is about 30-32c :)

you should only use calcium with d3 and multivitamin about twice a month each. just switch them off every weekend. and you should use calcium without d3 every feeding.

i use a multi vit not d3. i use d3 once a month

What i do for dusting, Once a day Vitamins without D3, then on Saturday, with D3, the following Saturday, Multi Vitamins. So just every weekend swap between the two, so it makes it easy to monitor how many times a month you use them, and you want two a month.

Having said that, if your little guy gets sunlight every day, or fairly often, then D3 is not needed, as the sunlight gives them D3

it could be. My panther got MBD when i didn't follow the dusting, and he also seemed depressed, didnt move much, stopped eating really and just was not himself. Never again will i slack on dusting.

You would be surprised the wonders calcium does.

It could be dusting that is the problem, not sure but it could be. Better be safe than sorry you know?
