My male veiled chameleon is sick still alive, but very weak and not able to move.

My male veiled chameleon is alive, but cannot move. I have him in a towel with a heating pad under it right now. There is lots of dirt in his mouth when we found him in the cage we washed it all out but he can’t move. I don’t believe it MBD but I could be wrong. I would just like to know if there’s anyone who can help guide me to make sure Yoda is ok.
