Thanks! He loves it the water comes out about 80f and he has started literally started running over to this misting nozzle and just stands there until its done then when it quits he's seriously looks at it like more please lol!

That's so cool to see him shedding... a sign of growing! Mine just shed yesterday and I was so shocked at how fast he did!

Yeah I was worried because he hadn't done it yet I almost wonder if he did it because of a MV bulb I put up for him which he loves and chooses it over the other uv bulbs on his cage so who knows but heres another pic ImageUploadedByTapatalk1325284082.000141.jpg

Ok may we some of you could help me out here I'm having a hard time keeping the humidity above 50% in my enclosure doesn't seem to matter how wet hong long how sort I mist for as soon as I'm done misting it starts to fall should I put a heating pad on the bottom of the enclosure ??? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Raising the heat will lower the humidity. Remember relative humidity is water compared to temp. If the room is 50% at 68F and the enclosure is 80F+ it will have a lower relative humidity.

Couple more pics from today!

what's your feeding/gut load/supplementation practices with him?

And how did you build your Mister? Are you heating the water, how?

Looks beautiful.

Live plants, and I found plastic around the 3 sides of the screen cage very helpful! I mist just twice a day, humidity is always between 60, 80%

Thanks!
I feed him a random assortment of things from crickets to silk and horn worms, super worms, Phoenix worms etc.
For gut load I use repashy superload with bee pollen added to attract the crickets better I'll also add some superload to the hornworm chow about 2 hours before I feed them!
As for how I built my mister I used a diaphragm pump / booster pump off of my old RODI unit it's rated for 150psi I picked up these

From my home depot hooked them up like so

And yes I use a aquarium heater to heat a 16 gallon water storage tank the water heats to 85f and comes out about 78f

Wow he is really popping with color!!!! I don't have a mist system since I am home... but looking into all types of systems. Thanks for showing me you mist unit :)
