My new free-range space.!! Need advice

hey everyone! i recently cleared out my office in my apartment and decided to make a free-range space for my veiled Alfie.. Here's what it looks like..I will be adding more foliage soon ..

However i do have some concerns.. Alfie seems to be mostly at the opposite end of the light setup, and I'm concerned that he might not be spending enough time under the lights. i have the misting system planned out and ready for drainage.. but its the lighting situation that I'm a bit concerned about.
I was going to hang the lights off the ceiling above the plants, but now in thinking twice if he is going to be perched at the opposite end, it seems to be his favorite sot so far.. Should i just place the lights over his favorite perch??
**Do any of the more experienced keepers have any advice on this?? **

Looks awesome so far! Just keep adding plants and it will look incredible. I suggest (to save money on the huge plants) getting medium plants and setting them up on cheap tables. It's what I've done, and instead of getting two 6 ft trees for $60, I was able to get 6 3ft plants instead and get more cover for my money.

I am so envious though, I wish I had a free room that large! He's so lucky! :D Keep posting photos as you keep working on it.

Looks great. Just like Olimpia said, add more branches and vines. I would hang the lights from the ceileing. I don't see a basking light, do you have one? Looks like he can reach those lights, I would move them somewhere else quick.

I dont have a free range but alot of people say not to put it next to a sunny window because they spend most of their time next to it and not their basking spot.

So if I were you id try to get the UVB next to the window if your gonna keep his free range next to it.

Also when you mist your going to ruin your pretty hard wood floor D:

I have the basking light attached to the linear bulb housing, that way i know hes getting his rays even if hes basking..
Hes been mostly perched over the window where there is no light, i might just have to hang it up there since it seems to be his favorite spot.
As far as foliage im going to be doing a custom shelf on the corner that is going to heve the misting system and drainage.. I will also be adding more rope, i ran out :)
Overall i think the hardest thing was chameleon proofing!!
First day, he was just checking stuff out.. Since the second day hes been relentesly patroling his new territory getting into every nook and cranny possible..
Its funny that i fought my gf for a while for that room and now my chameleon has taken over it.. Is that considered a victory ??? LoL
